APG) has been entrusted by well-known Lab ‘Arab Center for Engineering Studies (ACES)’ to perform the design of their Headquarter including Laboratory, Workshop, and Accommodation Buildings located in Salwa Road, Doha, Qatar. Situated on a plot spanning approximately 5,000 square meters, the building has a built-up area of 7,112 square meters.

The Design.
To meet the requirements set forth by ACES, TRUST’s design consultancy services encompassed a wide range of disciplines, including Architecture, Life Safety, MEP Design, Structural Design, Interior Design, Infrastructure & Roads, and Authority Approvals all up to Supervision.
Working hand in hand with ACES team to understand their process, a creative layout of the lab was developed allowing for future growth and accommodating a variety of laboratory testing, monitoring and compliances. Its unique appearance is further enhanced by the elaborate development of its façade, which is based on the ACES company logo. Its dynamic exterior lines add to building visual appeal where single box volume design blends in with the existing urban environment. The building, which has a steel structural system and is substantial and coherent, is the result of careful attention to detail in both design and construction.
