The Sheikha Moza Bint Mohammed Quran and Daa’wa Center by Trust Engineering Consultancy proudly stands among the finalists at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2022. Positioned in the esteemed Future Projects- Education Project Category, this innovative project showcases the firm’s unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of architectural design and consultancy services, especially within educational facilities. 

Designed to be both an educational institution and a tribute to cultural roots, this ground-breaking center skillfully blends modernity with long-standing traditions. The project, which reimagines educational spaces for women, stands at the junction of tradition and modernity. It incorporates Islamic architectural ideas, such as central courtyards and Mashrabiya for women’s privacy and sustainable design. 

The Center strives to promote learning, creativity, and cultural understanding. It is inspired by modern architecture and the rich cultural legacy of the area. Inspired by the sacred blossom of the Sidra tree, which is described in the Quran, the design, rooted in modern yet culturally sensitive architecture, represents the uplifting role of Islam in women’s education and societal progress. 

In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the center is highly functional and sustainable, with eco-friendly features and cutting-edge technology. The World Architecture Festival 2022 finalist status of Trust Engineering Consultancy attests to their expertise in the sector and emphasizes the growing significance of architecture in addressing practical demands and fostering cultural identity.
