As the Lead Design and Supervision Consultant for a 5-star hotel building in Ramada, Doha, Qatar, Trust Engineering Consultancy has entered a major project with Mr. Ali Abdulla H R Al Thawadi under agreement with renewed Main Contractor (“Babishtar”).
With a built-up area of 15,473 square meters and a land size of about 2,638 square meters, the mid-rise hotel building is spread across 3B+G+M+6+PH levels.

The Design.
TRUST’s role in the project is broad and encompasses all design disciplines, including architecture, structure, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), interior design, and landscape design, from concept to issue for construction (IFC) while obtaining all design approvals including the Ministry of Tourism Approval for this 5-star development.
TRUST team was engaged to oversee creating specifications, securing authority approvals, and creating Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Furthermore, TRUST assumed a crucial role in supervising the project's technical aspects, offering full technical supervision services, including comprehensive inspection reports and overseeing the project's successful handover upon completion.
A standout feature of the design concept is its strategic two-wing approach, with a curtain façade that not only welcomes visitors but also enhances the structure's appearance, making the building visually striking to both visitors and passersby. The entrance cantilever follows the same design language, providing a major accent to the hotel's central entrance. Additionally, two side frame elements encase the building, serving as shade for the roof leisure facility, which includes the swimming pool.
